Even as a model during my studies, I searched in vain for cosmetics that wouldn't harm the environment or my skin, but instead supported and regenerated it with naturally powerful active ingredients. Because nature is perfection and already offers us all the answers we need.
My years of hobby beekeeping have also made me even more aware of how nature's complex systems work. But also how vulnerable nature, in all its rich beauty, is when, for example, bees and thus plant pollination decline.
All this inspired me in 2018 to launch nooii as a sustainable Swiss luxury cosmetics brand with purely natural, effective and organically certified ingredients and fragrances.

Since our founding, sustainable circular economy, local production and the power of nature have determined our products and entrepreneurial activities.
100% natural and sustainably produced ingredients
For all our products, we use only natural, highly effective, and sustainably produced ingredients and fragrances that are certified organic and meet the highest standards. They are 100% biodegradable and free from artificial colors and fragrances, toxins, parabens, SLS, and SLES. No animal-derived substances are used or tested on animals in any of our products.
nooii skincare products are based on coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, and essential oils. The hero ingredient in all our products is rosehip seed oil, with its protective and rejuvenating effects thanks to its high vitamin A content.
We develop and produce in Switzerland and work with sustainably managed companies and partners from the region.
Glass bottles for your health
We deliberately use glass for our product packaging because it protects our precious, natural ingredients and is safe for our health. Glass is harmless to our health – unlike plastic or canned food packaging. These contain chemicals called plasticizers that disrupt our hormone systems.
Scientists are observing an increasing number of diseases that they attribute to hormonal imbalances, as well as an increase in infertility among both women and men. Therefore, glass is currently the only acceptable packaging option for us.
Environmentally friendly packaging and circular economy
The beauty and cosmetics industry is one of the largest contributors to plastic pollution. To conserve resources and minimize environmental impact at every level of the production chain, we avoid plastic or unnecessary secondary packaging such as product boxes and instead use recyclable lightweight glass.
The recycling system for glass is already well-developed in Europe. A reusable glass bottle can be reused up to 50 times. A reusable plastic bottle, on the other hand, can only be reused about 25 times, and is also harmful to our health and the environment.
For our labels, we use environmentally friendly, biodegradable stone paper instead of plastic or wood. It has a velvety, matte feel and also lends our products a tactile, sensual quality.

Kelp Blue – Nature-based CO2 storage in the ocean
Kelp Blue, a young company with an affiliated foundation, is bringing a nature-based, innovative solution to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity underwater and on land to market.
The company cultivates vast so-called "seaweed forests" off Namibia's ocean coast, which absorb and store CO2 from the air. They then isolate the extracted elements and convert them into products for agriculture, as well as for the pharmaceutical and textile industries.
