Even as a model during my studies, I searched in vain for cosmetics that don't harm my skin nor the environment. Rather, the products should nourish and regenerate, with naturally powerful, active ingredients. Because nature is perfection and already offers all the answers we need.
As a passionate hobbyist beekeeper, I have become even more aware of how the complex systems of nature work. But also how vulnerable nature is in its lavish beauty, and I have been pained by the decline of bee population.
All this inspired me in 2018 to launch nooii as a sustainable, Swiss luxury cosmetics brand with exclusively naturally effective and organically certified ingredients and fragrances.

Uncompromisingly natural and sustainable
Since the founding of nooii, sustainable circular economy, local production and the power of nature have determined our products and entrepreneurial conduct.
100% Natural and sustainably produced ingredients
For all our products, we use exclusively natural, highly effective ingredients and fragrances that are certified organic and sustainably produced. They are 100% biodegradable, free from artificial colours and fragrances, toxins, parabens, SLS and SLES.
No animal substances are used nor are any products tested on animals.
nooii skincare products are made with coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and essential oils in their base. The hero ingredient in all our products is rosehip seed oil with its protective and rejuvenating effect due to the high content of vitamin A.
We develop and produce in Switzerland and work with sustainably managed companies and partners from the region.
Glass bottles for your health
We deliberately use glass as our product packaging because it protects our precious, natural active ingredients as well as our health. Glass is harmless to health - unlike plastic packaging. These contain chemicals, so-called softeners, which disrupt our hormonal system.
Scientists are more frequently observing diseases that they attribute to disorders of the hormonal system. Likewise, the infertility of women and men is increasing. So for us, glass is the only acceptable packaging at the moment.
Environmentally friendly packaging and circular economy
The beauty and cosmetics industry is one of the biggest contributors to plastic pollution. To conserve resources and minimise environmental impact at every level of the production chain, we eliminate plastic or unnecessary secondary packaging such as product boxes and use recyclable lightweight glass instead.
The recycling system for glass is already well established in Europe. A returnable glass bottle can be reused up to 50 times. A returnable plastic bottle on the other hand, can only be reused about 25 times and is also harmful to our health and the environment.
For our labels, we use environmentally friendly stone paper instead of plastic or wood paper. Its rich, velvety feel lends a haptic and sensual component to our products.

Our commitment to climate protection and biodiversity
We donate 5% of our proceeds to local and international organisations that offer effective solutions to minimise CO2 and safeguard biodiversity and natural water resources.
Kelp Blue - Natural CO2 storage in the ocean
Kelp Blue, a nascent company with an associated foundation, is commercialising a natural, innovative solution to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity underwater as well as on land.
The company cultivates vast "seaweed forests" off the ocean coast of Namibia, which absorb and store CO2 from the air. They then isolate the extracted elements and convert them into products for agriculture as well as for the pharmaceutical and textile industries.
